'The Flow' came together as Hawaii’s Puna region and the town of Pāhoa were under threat from the Big Island's most active volcano, Pele. Just like the volcano, this album has boldness and intensity mixed with a relaxed island vibe, similar to lava slowly making its way from the Kilauea Crater to the sea. Chris Berry, Tubby Love, Will Lydgate, Paul Izak, Ben Teters are dedicated to creating a classic reggae sound, keeping synthesizers, drum machines and newer electronic sounds out of the recording. The final product is an all natural, phat groove that moves the body while expanding the mind with conscious lyrics. This album represents a unique blend of African traditional music with an old-school reggae sound.
